Dear visitors,
It is my pleasure to introduce myself as a physics teacher at Moran College. I am Dr. Pragyan Phukan and I have been teaching at Moran College for 3 years.
I have completed my undergraduate degree in physics from North Lakhimpur College and went on to obtain a Post Graduate degree and PhD degree from Tezpur University. My research interests include High Energy Physics, Quantum Cromodynamics, Parton Evolution Equations etc.
In addition to teaching and research, I have also been actively involved in various academic committees and community outreach programs. I believe that education should not be limited to the four walls of a classroom and that it is essential to engage with the community to promote scientific literacy and awareness.
As a physics professor at Moran College, I am committed to providing a comprehensive and engaging learning experience for my students. I believe that physics is a fascinating subject and I strive to make it accessible and relatable to all my students. My teaching philosophy is centered around the belief that students learn best when they are actively engaged in the learning process. To achieve this, I incorporate various interactive methods such as demonstrations, simulations, and group projects in my classes.
I am excited to be a part of the Moran College community and look forward to sharing my passion for physics with my students.
