A One-day State-Level Online Orientation-cum-Popular Talk is being organized in alignment with the World Wildlife Day theme, “Medicinal and Aromatic Plants: Conserving Health, Heritage and Livelihoods.” Based on this theme, the event has been thoughtfully designed to promote academic dialogue and collaboration, while also highlighting the relevance of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) in understanding traditional medicinal practices. The Across Valley Education Programme (AVEP) aims to foster meaningful interaction among teachers and students from the two valleys of Assam. Through this initiative, we seek to strengthen communication networks, reduce academic barriers, and promote collaborative learning and mutual understanding.
