About   The Department

The Department of Zoology at Moran College is committed to advancing the study of animal biology, behavior, and ecology through quality education and research. It offers diverse courses and research opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students, guiding them toward academic and professional success. Faculty members actively mentor students and support their intellectual growth.

The department fosters a deep understanding of zoological sciences through teaching, research, and outreach. It emphasizes innovative research in areas such as animal behavior, ecology, physiology, and conservation biology, contributing to scientific knowledge and conservation efforts. Experiential learning, research projects, and scholarly activities help students connect theory with real-world applications.
